Saturday, January 1, 2011 at 11:46PM Luke had an MRI performed of the brain where inflammation of the brain down to the basal ganglea was detected. This confirmed the initial abnormality on the CT scan. It looked like the meningitis had caused the inflammation of the brain leading to encephalitis (inflammation of the brain).
Treatments for bacterial meningitis and the herpes virus meningitis continue.
Sunday, January 2, 2011 at 12:24AM Prayers answered once again...God is faithful! They were able to do teh entire MRO with anesthesia; we won't know anything for awhile BUT we do NOT have to wait until Monday and Luke did great...
